When Access Ford, Ltd. acquired a Ford dealership in Corpus Christi, Texas, they wanted a blowout reception to announce the opening of the dealership, in which they could invite friends, neighbors, and existing and potential customers. The grand opening celebration was a huge hit with more then 300 guests in attendance. The party opened with the singing of “The National Anthem” then guests were invited to help themselves to hors d’ouerves and cocktails, situated all throughout the dealership. Guests had the opportunity to meet the owners, Charlie and Frankie Massey, while touring the expansive dealership and service department. The grand opening celebration, paired with a marketing and advertising campaign, led to Access Ford’s sales increasing by 300% in the first year of business.
