Press conferences are a very common way for an organization to make an announcement; however, much work goes into organizing such an event. Due to our relationships with the media and public figures, Connolly & Company has extensive experience organizing and coordinating successful press conferences.

Royal Oak Industries
When Royal Oak Industries announced in 2002 they were breaking ground in San Antonio to build their newest plant, Connolly & Company was hired to organize the press conference. The client was very happy with the press conference’s success – every seat was occupied, and various public figures were in attendance, including the Mayor and County Judge. In addition, each of San Antonio’s English and Spanish television and news radio stations showed up to cover the event.

R. L. Worth and INFONxx Press Conference
R. L. Worth & Associates, a local commercial real estate development, investment and brokerage company, leased one of their properties to INFONxx, a Pennsylvania-based directory assistance organization. INFONxx’s move to San Antonio in 2003 was significant due to the 2,000 jobs they were bringing to the community, so Connolly & Company was charged with the responsibility to organize a press conference to make the announcement official. Among the various media and local political leaders in attendance, we were honored with the presence of Governor Rick Perry.
